(1) If a teacher whose name is not included in the list of recommended promotion list according to rule 33 wants to file a complaint against the promotion decision, he can file a complaint with the Commission within 35 days from the date of publication of the promotion list, stating clear grounds and evidence.
(2) The report according to sub-rule (1) shall be verified by the principal in the case of the teacher and the head of education at the relevant local level in the case of the principal.
(3) Upon review according to sub-rule (2), if it is found necessary to amend the previously published list of promotion recommendations, the Commission shall make a decision and publish the revised list of promotion recommendations.
(4) If the complaint received as per sub-rule (1) is found to be false, 2 points will be deducted for the promotion after the complaint, if it is the first time complaint and 3 points will be deducted if it is the second time complaint.
(5) The notification of the action taken according to sub-rule (4) shall be given to the concerned teacher and the district education office where the concerned teacher is employed.
